We will get to a normal. What it looks like, how new or not it will be is open to debate. But in times like these, I always like to remember that volatility disrupts as much as it presents opportunity.
I was asked for the umpteenth time on a podcast interview earlier this year what I thought “new normal” would look like. To be honest, what I think is just as (in)valid or (ir)relevant as the next person – we are none of us soothsayers.
So I gave what I thought was the more important answer. That what really matters isn’t what I think, but what we’re going to shape. What we’re choosing to shape.
So if you genuinely care, the question is not so much what will the new normal look like, but what will you do to create the new normal you think we should have? What will any of us do?
