Perspective is a key leadership (and self management) trait in a crisis.
So another Friday ends in lockdown.
I’m grateful, genuinely, that I have health. That I have my family with me. That I have clean water and electricity (thanks Bulb for renewable energy 🌳). That I have great friends to talk to. Clients I love working with. That I can question and be curious.
More things than could fit in a hundred of these 1300 character limit posts!
When I see what children and families are going through in much of the world (and in the UK), then I know my privilege is huge.
All of which gives me greater urgency to put a dent in improving the business world. Business is a part of humanity, not the other way round. If we make better businesses, we serve humans better.
We’re in lockdown. Business is more challenging for many. It’s presenting opportunities to others. It’s forcing us all to rethink. Once we’ve all remembered we have a roof over our heads which won’t cave in, let’s rebuild better.
So step out of your comfort zone, start the weekend well, and grace me with a thought on what you’re grateful for at the moment.
I hope your weekend feels different from your week!
